WHAT DO I NEED?
The most common question we’re asked is, “What will I need for a full set up?” The beauty of home golf simulators is you can customise them completely to your preference. Take a look at the list below to see the different features you can add to your SimTech Home Simulator room.
ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT...

1. ENCLOSURE
The hitting enclosure can either be a built-in structure with an impact screen, or it can be a free standing structure such as our SimTech Enclosure. This is what you will be hitting the balls into.

2. HITTING MAT
The hitting mat is what you will be hitting the balls off. We offer a huge variety of hitting mats from basic mats, teaching mats with alignment markers, Tee into turf mats for a more realistic feel.

3. LAUNCH MONITORS
The launch monitor is normally the largest investment of you set-up. There are many to choose from such as radar based systems which require more depth, or photo-metric systems which require less.
EQUIPMENT THAT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT YOU MAY WANT TO INCLUDE...

4. PROJECTORS
A Projector will allow you to see the action on your impact screen. The type of projector you need depends on positioning and the aspect ratio for your screen. Please read our Projectors Blog for more info.

5. HARDWARE
Depending on your chosen launch monitor, you will need some hardware in the form of a computer, laptop or mobile device such as a phone or iPad to run the software that your launch monitor supports.

6. SOFTWARE
Depending on your Launch Monitor, you may need external gaming software. This will give you access to thousands of virtual golf courses. Including practice games, driving ranges and online game play.
